The Alterverses

Beyond Orbis lie other worlds — mysterious planets waiting to be explored.

Orbis

The main world — a diverse planet with elemental zones, rich lore, and endless adventure. Orbis is where the Cursebreaker arc unfolds across the Emerald Wilds, Howling Sands, Whisperfrost Frontiers and the Devastated Lands. Fully playable in Early Access.

Playable

Nexus

A dark, rocky world associated with Void magic and the forces of Varyn. Visible from Orbis as a looming celestial body, the Nexus is the source of the corruption the Cursebreaker must push back. Not yet playable — reserved for later story chapters.

Lore World

Karpak

A mysterious yellow planet with swirling energy at its core, glimpsed in early Hytale concept art alongside the other alterverses. Its role in the wider mythology is still unrevealed. Lore world only for now.

Lore World

Tor'Balyn

A cracked, volcanic world of red mountains, partially shattered and visibly scarred. The shattered appearance hints at a cataclysmic event in Hytale's deeper lore. Not yet playable.

Lore World

Numdrassl

A world of tall marble pillars and lush vegetation, connected to Gaia — the Earth elemental force that defines the Emerald Wilds. Its serene appearance contrasts with the corrupted alterverses. Lore world only for now.
