Check a Hytale Server

Enter a server IP or hostname. Port defaults to 5520 (HyQuery UDP).

Tries: HyQuery UDP (5520) → Nitrado Query Plugin (HTTP:5523) → Community API

How the Hytale Server Checker Works

Enter any Hytale server IP address or hostname, choose a port (default: 5520), and click Check. The tool queries the server using HyQuery UDP — the official Hytale binary protocol — then falls back to the Nitrado Query Plugin (HTTP port 5523) and a community API. Results include the current player count, server version, ping latency, active world name, and installed plugins.

Quick guide

How to check a Hytale server

1

Find the server address

Copy the server IP or hostname from the server's Discord, website, or server list. It looks like play.example.com or a raw IP.

2

Enter address and port

Paste the address into the field above. Leave the port at 5520 — the default HyQuery UDP port — unless the server uses a custom one.

3

Run the check

Click Check. AlaHytale queries the server live via HyQuery UDP, then falls back to the Nitrado HTTP plugin and a community API.

4

Read the results

Review the status, player count, version, world, and plugins. Use Refresh to re-check or Share to send the result link to others.

Good to know

A server may show offline if it blocks UDP port 5520 or sits behind a firewall — this does not always mean the server is down. Community API results can lag a few minutes behind the live state.
