What Is the Quest Tracker?

The Quest Tracker is an interactive planning tool designed specifically for Hytale players. Think of it as your personal adventure journal. You can create multiple quest lists — each with its own name, color, and icon — and fill them with tasks that you want to accomplish in the game. As you complete each task, simply check it off and watch your progress bar grow. It is the perfect companion for organizing your gameplay sessions, whether you are tackling a solo survival run or coordinating goals with friends.

Quick Start Presets

For players who want to jump right in, the Quest Tracker comes with five curated presets. Each preset is a pre-built quest list with thematic tasks that match a common in-game goal:

How It Works

Using the Quest Tracker is straightforward:

• Create — Click "Create Quest / To-Do" and give it a name, pick a color and an icon
• Add tasks — Type a task and press Add. Repeat until your list is complete
• Track — Check off tasks as you complete them. Your progress bar updates in real time
• Manage — Collapse lists, hide completed tasks, edit task text, or delete quests when done

All your data is saved automatically in your browser's localStorage. This means your quest lists persist between sessions — close the tab, shut down your computer, and everything will still be there when you come back. No account, no login, no cloud sync required.

Privacy First

We believe your data is yours. The Quest Tracker stores everything locally in your browser — nothing is sent to our servers. Your quest lists are completely private. The only caveat: if you clear your browser data or localStorage, your quests will be lost. We are exploring options for optional cloud sync in the future, but for now, your data stays entirely on your device.
